Heartopia Gold Guide: 510/min Strategy

The Latte Method (2.5k+ Gold Daily Profit)

Time Needed: Less than 15 minutes total. Buying ingredients and returning home takes under 10 minutes, while cooking takes less than 4 minutes with 3-4 stoves. You earn at least 2,500 gold profit.

1. Level Up: Reach Cooking Level 2.
   Spam Mixed Jam and Blueberry Jam—they are the fastest way to gain XP early.
2. Unlock Recipe: Head to the Cooking Merchant (Massimo) and purchase the Coffee Recipe.
3. Purchase Materials: Buy 50 Milk and 50 Coffee Beans from the merchant store.
4. Unlock Latte Recipe: Open the Coffee Recipe. Instead of the default ingredients, use 2 Milk and 2 Coffee Beans. Crafting this will create a Latte and permanently unlock the Latte recipe for you!
5. Craft Lattes: Now, select your new Latte Recipe and craft them until you run out of materials.
6. Stove Setup: I recommend starting with 2 stoves as a beginner. Later, switch to 3 stoves—this setup allows for minimum movement and helps with heat control so you won't have any bad drinks. Once you are comfortable, you can add a 4th stove behind you. It took me less than 4 minutes to cook all the lattes with 3 stoves!
   Pro Tip: To make cooking easier, go to Settings > Gameplay and turn off "Auto-Rotate Camera When Cooking".
7. Sell & Profit: Sell the finished Lattes for over 2,500 gold Profit!

Note: This method also levels your cooking skill quickly! You'll have chances to create high-star Lattes which sell for even more gold.

Method 2: Grilled Mushrooms (~510 Gold/Min)

1. Prepare Your Farm: Before you start gathering, plant some tomatoes. They will grow while you are out collecting mushrooms, maximizing your time.
2. Gather Ingredients: Go to the Forest or Fishing Village (whichever you know best) and look for Penny Buns.
   Stats: I collected 106 Penny Buns in about 5 minutes and 25 seconds! My route creates a respawn loop: Start at the tent, head south across the panda bridge, circle the tree house, and check along the river. By the time you return to the start through the same path, wait 10-20 seconds at the tent for the mushrooms to begin respawning. I marked the shrooms on the map in stars
3. Cook: Grilled Mushrooms.
   Stats: Cooking 26 mushrooms took about 4 minutes and 30 seconds using 4 stoves.
4. Profit: This results in a profit rate of approximately 510 Gold per Minute.

Comparison: Why Mushrooms Beat Jams

I tested various Jams to see if they could compete. Here is the breakdown of 1-star selling prices:

• Blueberry Jam: 170 Gold (Lowest profit, ignore this).
• Raspberry Jam: 250 Gold.
• Apple/Mandarin Jam: 270 Gold.

The Math

It takes about 5 minutes to gather and 1 minutes 52 seconds to cook 10 jars. Total time is roughly 8.5 minutes for ~392 Gold/Min.

Specific Test: I spent about 5 minutes in the flower field (collected 33 raspberries, 82 branches) + 1 minute 50 seconds cooking. Selling the jam and branches was about 370 Gold/Min.

Conclusion: Grilled Mushrooms (510 Gold/Min) are significantly faster than Jams.
